Abstract
The relevance of the study is due to the priorities of the “New Ukrainian School” reform, which orients the educational process towards the comprehensive development of the personality of a younger schoolchild, in particular the formation of creativity, creative thinking, initiative and the ability to express oneself. The State Standard of Primary Education emphasizes that the purpose of primary education is to develop the talents, abilities, creativity and curiosity of children, as well as the formation of skills to creatively apply the acquired knowledge and experience. In the conditions of the rapid development of digital technologies and the growing influence of the information space, the introduction of media education into the educational process of primary school is of particular relevance. Primary school students actively interact with various media products, which opens up new opportunities for the development of their creative activity. In this context, the use of comics in the lessons of the integrated course “I Explore the World” contributes to the creation of an interactive educational environment, increasing learning motivation, activating thinking and involving students in creative activity. At the same time, the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature shows that, despite the considerable attention of scientists to the problem of developing creative activity of younger schoolchildren and the use of interactive teaching methods, the issue of purposeful use of comics as a means of developing creative activity of 4th grade students in the lessons of the integrated course "I explore the world" remains insufficiently methodologically substantiated. This causes a contradiction between the need of a modern primary school to use effective media to develop creative activity of students and the insufficient level of development of pedagogical conditions for their implementation in the educational process. The purpose of the study is to theoretically define and practically substantiate the pedagogical conditions for the development of creative activity of 4th grade students during the processing of comics in the lessons of the integrated course "I explore the world". The practical significance of the study lies in the development and testing of methodological materials and didactic tasks using comics aimed at developing creative activity of 4th grade students in the lessons of the integrated course "YADS". The research materials can be used by primary school teachers in their practical activities, as well as in the process of professional training of future teachers.
