Abstract

The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate and experimentally verify the methodology for developing media literacy of 4th grade students in reading lessons, as well as to design appropriate teaching and methodological support. The practical significance of the master’s qualification project lies in the development of a set of didactic materials and methodological guidelines for developing media literacy of 4th grade students in reading lessons. The proposed materials can be used by primary school teachers in the educational process, during teaching practice, and in the system of in-service teacher training.
