Abstract

In the modern world, where technological and globalisation processes are rapidly changing the nature of communication, interactive art is becoming an increasingly important tool for the formation of new cultural interaction formats. Its relevance lies in the fact that it allows not only contemplation of a work of art, but also active interaction with it, turning the viewer into a full-fledged co-creator. One of the key areas of development in interactive art is choreographic education, where bodily interaction serves as a means of communication. In the practices of classical dance, stage choreography workshops, and pointe techniques, the body is not only an object of aesthetic contemplation but also an active mediator of emotional and cultural experiences. It contributes to the development of intercultural dialogue, fostering an understanding of the diversity of cultural identities and promoting tolerance in a society where social, ethnic, and cultural differences often lead to alienation. Interactive artistic practices overcome these barriers, creating a space for an equal exchange of experience, emotions and values. This study aims to investigate the role of interactive art in fostering a socially inclusive and culturally sensitive environment, while also examining its potential in promoting intercultural communication. The methodological basis of this work combines cultural, theatrical, socio-communicative, and art historical approaches, allowing us to consider interactive art as an interdisciplinary phenomenon. To achieve this goal, methods of comparative analysis, the structuralfunctional approach, and case analysis of modern interactive practices in the fields of theatre, media art, education, and social projects were employed. As a result of the study, it was found that interactive art is a powerful means of social communication, capable of providing a deeper understanding of other cultural experiences. It helps to overcome stereotypes, stimulates empathy and creates conditions for dialogue on equal terms. Forms such as immersive performances, VR/AR projects, digital installations, and participatory performances demonstrate the art's ability to serve as a platform not only for aesthetic experiences but also for social interaction and co-creation. Interactivity stimulates creative thinking, develops social competencies and supports the inclusiveness of the cultural space. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of applying interactive artistic methods in various fields, including education, cultural management, theatre, museum work, as well as social and therapeutic programs aimed at integrating different social groups. The use of interactive art in an intercultural context fosters the development of openness and respect for other cultures, and it forms a new model of cultural communication based on participation and the joint creation of meanings.
