Abstract
The bachelor's thesis was to create an Instagram project dedicated to the coverage of the US President Donald Trump's administration's policy on Russia's war against Ukraine in the US media. The developed Instagram page demonstrates how the most famous US media convey the official rhetoric of the White House regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war, including its settlement. The essence of the graduation project is to create publications that simply explain geopolitical processes using facts, comments, quotes, and a social media-friendly visual design. The main task of the page is to give the user an idea of how the foreign policy narrative is formed in the US media and what emphasis different publications place on it. The project is targeted at Ukrainian youth aged 18-35 who are interested in international politics, war, journalism, and media analysis. This audience seeks to improve their media literacy, better understand world events, develop and critically analyze information, and avoid the influence of propaganda. All texts on the Instagram project are informational and analytical in nature and are based on real content from leading American media. They are created objectively and accurately, with careful fact-checking and a clear separation of facts from comments and opinions. The project has the potential to be developed on Instagram through stories, reels and discussions, as well as on other platforms.
