Abstract

The article examines the impact of competency-based integration of mathematical and natural science knowledge on the development of critical thinking, analytical skills, and real-world problem-solving abilities. Particular attention is paid to the use of Euler’s formulas as a tool for interdisciplinary integration in the teaching of mathematics and natural sciences. The pedagogical potential of classical geometric theorems is analysed, and improved visual-geometric approaches to their proof and application are proposed. Within the framework of the study, integrated tasks combining elements of geometry, physics, and analytical modelling were developed and tested. The research demonstrates that the integrated approach contributes to the development of spatial reasoning, research skills, learning motivation, and a deeper understanding of mathematical relationships. The main challenges of implementing interdisciplinary learning in the modern educational environment are identified, and prospects for further development of STEM integration are outlined.
