Анотація

The article substantiates a concept of the professional universum as a personal new formation of a graduate student, manifested in their ability and readiness to build alternative vectors of their personal and professional self-realization. The structure of the professional universum consists of the following components: motivational, which is manifested in a pursuance of self-actualization; cognitive, which is embodied in reflexivity; emotional and volitional with a responsibility and a behavioral component, which is expressed in flexibility. Spontaneous formation of the professional universum amidst the professional training of a student causes a decrease tendency of its rates among graduates of higher education institutions. The necessity of a purposeful development of this new personal formation of a student during their professional training resulted in development and approbation of a program for development of a future specialist’s professional universum. Implementation of this program suggested introduction of a reflexive and projective technology for teaching psychology, the use of the atlas of professionalization as a means of psychological guidance for the professional development of students, as well as teaching a special course of study «Psychology of self-understanding and professional self-realization». Reflexive and projective training is used as an educational technology that ensures the readiness and students’ capability to systematically analyze their own personal and professional development, their ability to build, implement and adjust a project of their own professional self-realization. The increase in the rates of the components and overall level of the professional universum as a result of the formative influence recorded in the experimental groups, pinpoints the need for a purposeful implementation of the universalization vector into the practice of a personal and professional development of students. The most effective platform for the development of students’ professional universum is teaching a special course of study «Psychology of self-understanding and professional self-realization» using reflexive and projective educational technology
