Abstract
The article explores the transformation of consulting activities in the context of education digitalization, particularly in the field of adult education. The focus is placed on the changing formats, approaches, and tools of counseling that ensure effective communication, flexibility, and accessibility of services. The aim of the study is to examine the features of organizing and conducting consulting activities under conditions of digital change, to identify the potential of modern digital resources, and to forecast directions for their further development. The research objectives include: characterization of key digital tools; analysis of their advantages and limitations; identification of the impact of digital technologies on the effectiveness of counseling interactions; and generalization of the challenges faced by professionals in the process of digital transformation. The focus is on such tools as Zoom, Google Meet, Padlet, Miro, Canva, and Mentimeter, which are actively used in online counseling. Their functionality is analyzed, along with their potential to facilitate interactive engagement, collaborative work, content visualization, and real-time feedback collection. It is emphasized that digital technologies not only expand the target audience but also enable the implementation of personalized approaches tailored to each learner. The main trends in the digitalization of counseling are highlighted, including the transition to remote formats through video conferencing and interactive platforms; process automation with the help of artificial intelligence; the use of cloud services for data storage and exchange; and the integration of data analysis tools to support personalized counseling. The article also outlines prospects for the integration of artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and automated services into the counseling process. It is concluded that the successful implementation of digital counseling requires improving the digital literacy of professionals, developing infrastructure, ensuring cybersecurity, and adapting digital tools to the specific needs of adult education. Digital technologies function not only as technical instruments but also as catalysts of qualitative changes in the interaction between consultant and client.
