Abstract
The new stage of society's development puts forward the need for a personality capable of flexibly responding to changes and demands of modern society. The priority of education is the formation of a comprehensively developed personality. Art education plays an important role in this, because through art the student learns the world in its integrity and emotional fullness. The integrated course "Art", in turn, contributes to the artistic and aesthetic development of a younger schoolchild. Thanks to the interspecific interaction of music, painting, theater and choreography, the basis of the student's artistic and aesthetic experience is formed and rhythmic skills are developed. Thus, music is of leading importance in the development of a sense of harmony, tempo and rhythm. Rhythm, in turn, is a key element of musical organization, the development of attention, coordination and self-regulation, and the restoration of emotional balance in war conditions. One of the modern means of developing rhythm is body percussion. It combines sound, movement and the creation of rhythm using the body. Its use in art lessons activates the physical, emotional and intellectual activity of students and promotes emotional stabilization through improvisation and collective music-making. The integration of elements of body percussion into the content of art lessons forms the basis for creative self-expression and social interaction of students. The problem of the development of rhythm and creative self-expression in the context of art education is considered in the works of many domestic and foreign researchers. The issue of rhythm as a phenomenon of musical thinking, the basis of coordination of movements and a means of emotional expression was covered by K. Orff, Z. Kodai, E. Jacques-Dalcroze. Among modern Ukrainian scientists, the issue of the development of rhythm and musical abilities in younger schoolchildren is considered by L. Masol, L. Kondratova, V. Pavlenko, S. Yalanska, V. Vorozhbyt-Horbatyuk. Body percussion as a means of harmonizing the musical development of schoolchildren is considered by Z. Emanova. Creates multimedia content in the context of the application of the system of musical and rhythmic education (Body Percussion) and its implementation in classes during the study of folklore by O. Zhdanov. Scientist M. Shevchenko considers technologies as an effective tool for the development of rhythmic and musical skills of students in grades 1-4 in art lessons. Despite a considerable number of studies on this issue, the development of rhythm in art lessons in grade 1 using body percussion remains understudied. This determines the relevance of the phenomenon under study.
